Greg Hardy starts the season suspended so he will not count against the 53-man roster. The Cowboys love their depth here and will likely go deep in order to retain the depth and rotation. The fringe players are Bishop, Russell, and Jack Crawford. All will have to prove their worth to make and stay on the roster. If Hayden and McClain stay healthy through Hardy’s suspension, Bishop may be expendable since he’s the #3 1 tech DT with little versatility elsewhere.
