If the Cowboys are going to walk out of week 8 with a win, they will need to do these five things, and maybe a little motivation.
It has been hard watching the Cowboys lose these last few weeks. It is time for the Cowboys to win a game and gain confidence sans Romo. In the wake of the Romo injury it has seemed like the offense has been stuck in neutral. There are some glimmers of hope based off what we saw last week. Cassel can throw the ball, McFadden can run the ball, and receivers can get open.
On defense, each week has offered new hope as players have been getting healthy. Byron Jones has proven to be a strong pick and the front seven looks like it can be the wrecking crew everyone thought it would be at the start of the season.
It is time all of these things come together for a win. The Cowboys are desperate to keep pace with the rest of the NFC East and another loss will make things harder for any hope, even after Romo returns. The time has come for this team to step up and win a game without Romo. It can be done, and making a statement against the reeling Seahawks is just the way to do it.
For the song of the week this week, we will turn to something a little motivating and yet, right on point for this game and the five things. The song of the week is: Run DMC – Walk This Way
