The 4-11 Dallas Cowboys host NFC East winning Washington Redskins Sunday afternoon. Here are game info, streaming, and predictions for the game…
Prediction: Reid Hanson, Sport DFW Editor
The pain of the 2015 season is almost over. In this, the final week, the Cowboys host the Washington Redskins. What was once seen earlier in the season as a pivotal match-up, this week 17 game has turned up as a fairly pointless endeavor for both teams since Dallas is eliminated and Washington is seeded.
This should be an interesting and unpredictable contest all around. The Cowboys have been slowly moving into “try-out mode” as they’ve moved more and more young, unproven players into the lineup. Kellen Moore and Brice Butler are two young players in particular who had a ton of exposure last week and will continue to start again this week.

It will clearly be in the Cowboys best interests to lose this game. Currently, the Cowboys hold the #4 pick in the NFL Draft. A loss can move them up and a win can drop them all the way to #8. I don’t have to tell you the vast difference between those two picks. A win could be extremely costly from both a player quality perspective and a draft value chart perspective.
The Cowboys won’t tank tomorrow and purposely lose, but they are going to keep rolling with their youth and possibly get more daring with the play-calling.
What I’m looking for:
- Can Demarcus Lawrence continue his torrid pace of pass-pressure? He’s been a beast the second half of the season and leads the team in sacks.

- Can Brice Butler keep showing growth? Butler is a high-ceiling player who has flashed stardom this season. If Butler can have another good showing, he could be a big part of the Cowboys plans next season.

- What can Damian Wilson do? Wilson, a promising rookie who excels in coverage, should get considerable playing time this week. I’d like to see him at both WILL and MIKE and see what he can do. With any luck, he could prove to be a replacement to Rolando McClain in the middle.
- Can Kellen Moore make the throws in a windless environment like AT&T Stadium? Can he be the answer at backup or will Dallas need to bring in a veteran free agent this offseason?

- The entire secondary. I want to see the whole secondary be put under pressure. Can one of the young corners flash enough to ease the pressure to use an early round pick? Can Byron Jones shut down TE Jordan Reed? Is J.J. Wilcox the answer or has he official hit his peak?

There’s just so much to look for this Sunday and none of it involves winning. But I have a bad feeling about this one…
