Boston Stiverson, Guard, Kansas St.

Stiverson is a tall physical player who is much better at run blocking than pass blocking. He played tackle in college and a move to guard should greatly increase his ability as a pass blocker. He will hold a block and move his man to fit the run play. He has a powerful first punch, but needs better work with his hands.

He moves his feet a little slow at times, but if he can get his hands on someone he can move them at will. He needs better work with his hand placement, but engages well and has a good first step. A move to guard and adding about ten pounds would help him with the move.

Stiverson can stick around if his move to guard is as good as some think it will be. He was the special teams player of the year for the Big 12, which should keep him with some interest. He needs some technique coaching, but could do in a pinch for the run game.
