Ed Eagan, Wide Receiver, Northwestern Louisiana St.

If you like Cole Beasley, you will like Ed Eagan. Eagan isn’t as fast as Beasley, but has the same agility, moves, and route running. He will catch a lot of balls you don’t think he will catch and knows how to come back for a ball and help his quarterback. He can allude tacklers and runs very clean routes and can stop on a dime.

Eagan is an interesting prospect as a slot receiver and kick off returner. While he ran a 4.5 40, his tape doesn’t look that fast in pads. He has enough moves and quickness to be a reliable returner, but not really one to have the chance to take one back on any play. He needs to learn how to get a little better on deep routes and clean his catching up to using his hands a little more.

Eagan can stick around as a wide receiver depth. He could be the

if Beasley happens to go down with an injury. He will stick if he can show up on special teams and puts in the work. Eagan isn’t going to wow anyone right off the bat, but he will surprise some people
