Cowboys: Undrafted Free Agents – Who Are These Guys?
Ryan Mack, OT, Memphis
Mack doesn’t have a lot of tape on the internet so it was hard to evaluate him. Had to go back and watch some Memphis highlights to see him play. He blocked for Paxton Lynch and actually did a fairly okay job. He has slightly plodding feet, but engages well at the point of attack.
He will need to be able to play swing tackle if he wants to stick around. He has the size and strength, but needs some polish to his game. Mack has a good first punch and will engage all the way through a play. He will sometimes end up on the ground, but recovers decently.
While Mack most likely is looking at a practice squad position, he needs some polish and could be a good depth player along the line. He might do well with a move to guard and in reality might fit him better. He can do well to learn for a year or two.
