3. Nov. 28, 2015 – Stars 4, Wild 3 (OT)

The first two periods of a game against their future first round opponent were not good for the Stars. They could not generate any offense and faced a three-goal deficit heading into the 3rd period.

However, about 10 minutes proved to be all the time the team needed to tie the game up.

At 4:57, Alex Goligoski tipped in a Jordie Benn shot to cut the deficit to two. At 9:43, Jamie Benn worked a two-on-one perfectly with Cody Eakin, finishing off with a sizzling shorthanded wrister to cut the Wild lead to one. Finally, at 14:34, John Klingberg launched a long shot after a smooth move from the point, tying the game at three with a little over five minutes to play in regulation.

The final minute of overtime was approaching when Benn circled the net, drawing Darcy Kuemper away from his post. The move set Tyler Seguin up for a perfect backhander that won the game for the Stars.

In a sensational comeback, the Stars had moved to 19-5-0, further solidifying the strength of their team.
