1. Apr. 9, 2016 – Stars 3, Predators 2

The final game of the season was upon the Stars and all they needed was a win in order to clinch the Central Division and the top seed in the Western Conference.

It wasn’t a routine start for the team as Ryan Ellis put the Predators up 1-0 just 19 seconds into the game. In the second, Calle Jarnkrok placed a two-goal deficit on the Stars as he notched a power play goal.

After that, all eyes turned to Jason Spezza, who scored two goals in the next five minutes, ultimately tying the game.

As overtime was looking more and more likely, Spezza scored a goal with 1:00 left in regulation, giving himself a hat trick and the Stars a 3-2 win. For the second consecutive year, the Stars had worked magic on their own ice in the final game of the season.
