Dallas Cowboys vs Baltimore Ravens Preview and Predictions
By Reid Hanson
The Dallas Cowboys (8-1) face off against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Can the top team in the NFL keep the streak alive or will the Ravens come out on top…
Much has happened this past week for the Dallas Cowboys. They tied a franchise record, winning eight games in a row. They made their now-healthy pro bowl QB, Tony Romo, a backup. And their rookie RB has become a front runner for NFL MVP.
Are the Dallas Cowboys running the risk of over-confidence? Let’s see what the staff thinks.

The Cowboys have a shot at finishing their season commitment with the AFC North at 4-0 and it’s certainly an attainable goal this week. They’re facing a Ravens team that’s teetering on the edge of .500, while Dallas has already guaranteed their final season record will be no worse than .500. Not to mention, Baltimore is 0-2 against the NFC this season and 2-3 in their past 5 games.

Don’t be fooled by their two game winning streak. It’s a mirage built on the Browns and a starting QB that had just gotten back from injury in Ben Roethlisberger. They nearly blew a 21-0 lead in the final nine minutes against the Steelers, and they’re facing a much tougher opponent in the Cowboys this week.
The last Dallas team to sweep their AFC schedule was the 2014 team that finished 12-4.
This Cowboys offense resembles that one in many ways, and the defense has been playing way above expectations. That’s why Sunday’s tilt with the Ravens is theirs to lose and barring any crazy injuries or unexpected surprises, Dallas will win easy.

This game for the Cowboys will be a test. The Ravens are not just good on defense, they are scary good. they have 22 sacks and 11 interceptions. They put a ton of pressure on quarterbacks, and hold strong against the run.
On the flip side, the Ravens offense is mediocre at best. Simply put, they don’t score a lot of touchdowns. Joe Flacco has looked very average. To beat the Cowboys you have to score. I just don’t think the Ravens have the firepower.

The Dallas Cowboys host the Baltimore Ravens in another must-win game for the Boys. The Ravens have the number one ranked defense in the league and will be ready to stop the Cowboys high powered offense. This game is another litmus test for rookie sensation, Dak Prescott, who is proving everyone wrong with his outstanding play.
Dak will continue to his impressive play and toss a few touchdowns passes to Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley, and Jason Witten. Zeke Elliott will rush for over a hundred yards, rush for a few touchdowns, and be a lethal threat out of the backfield.

The Ravens defense will feel the brunt of the Cowboys dominant offensive line and wear out in the third and fourth quarter. Plus, expect the Cowboys defense to get after Ravens QB Joe Flacco. This will be another convincing win for Dallas, and once again quiet the haters and critics.
