In just 10 days, the Dallas Cowboys will begin the journey of defending their NFC East title. As the 2017 season opener against the New York Giants nears, we’re breaking down the division by position and first up is the quarterbacks.

The Dallas Cowboys find themselves once again in a division made up of good quarterbacks. Every team has a guy that has proven himself at some point that he can start in the NFL. That makes the NFC East one of the strongest overall divisions at quarterback. So, how do they line up against each other?

As opposed to the two rookies in 2016, none of the four teams plan to start a rookie at signal-caller this go-around. But if last year provides any indication, then the younger guys will lead the pack once again.

Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz both come off some strong rookie campaigns to lead the Cowboys and Eagles, respectively. Meanwhile, the Redskins and Giants will bring back their veterans in Kirk Cousins and Eli Manning.

Which quarterback leads the group and will have the best season in 2017? Only the season, itself will determine that. But for the sake of fun predictions, here’s a look at how they’ll rank this season, from number five down to number one.
