The Dallas Cowboys travel to Virginia to take on the Washington Redskins at FedExField today. Here’s what the Sport DFW staff is predicting…

The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins are both standing at 3-3 and tied for second in the NFC East. This is a must win for both franchises so don’t except this to be a cakewalk for either team.

Working in Dallas’ favor is the injury status of multiple key players for Washington. With their offensive line in disarray, the Cowboys will have the opportunity to pressure Kirk Cousins and force him into making mistakes.

At the time of this article, it’s unknown if Josh Norman (Dez Bryant’s nemesis) will play or not. Either way, Dez will have his hands full because Washington’s other cornerback has been balling as well as of late:

Expect Dallas to run plenty of 12 and 13 personnel as they dedicate themselves to running game once again. Jason Witten and Cole Beasley should be in store for big days in the passing game as well.

Dallas looked every bit a playoff caliber team last week. All be it against the 49ers, but that shouldn’t deter what they were able to do.

The defense is still not on solid footing, but due to injuries on the Redskins line, this could be a good week to keep it rolling. If they can rattle Kirk Cousins this game should be a win for the Cowboys.

I think Zeke will look more like he did last week and the offense should be able to move the ball. Since the Redskins are coming off of a short week and add in injuries this should be a Cowboys win.

The Dallas Cowboys take on their hated and long time rival, the Washington Redskins in an afternoon showdown. As both teams sit at 3-3, this is a pivotal divisional game for both teams. And it will be another close and classic game between these two rivals.

Dallas will continue to run the ball against the Redskins defense, which has a top-10 rushing defense. Plus, the Skins defense has allowed ONLY 4 rushing touchdowns and 3.97 rushing yards per attempt. No worries there because the Dallas offensive line will dominate the Skins defensive front the same way it destroyed the 49ers front seven last week, to the tune of 260 rushing yards. So expect Ezekiel Elliott to rush for over 100 yards, score two touchdowns and be the difference maker in this classic battle.

Dak Prescott will out duel Skins quarterback Kirk Cousins and spread the ball around to several receivers, throw for 275 yards, rush for a touchdown and lead Dallas on the game winning drive. The Cowboys defense will get after Cousins with a few sacks, plenty of pressures, hits, and fumbles. With the Skins offensive line shaky, the Dallas front seven will take advantage of it force Cousins to throw a few interceptions. With that being said, these two teams always play each other close.
