The Dallas Cowboys enter the offseason with needs aplenty. Luckily for them they are armed with 10 picks in the upcoming draft. Prioritization is the name of the game and in coming weeks and months we should get a good idea what the Cowboys plan to target.
In order to mock a realistic (and not just optimistic) scenario, we used the mock draft simulator at Fanspeak.com. As is the case in a real draft, some players rose and some players fell and we were forced to adapt in our mock draft scenario.
At this extremely early point in the offseason, resources are limited. Many reliable draft profiles have yet to be posted and my personal film study is in the very early stages.
Disclosure: Not being a professional scout I typically use a variety of scouting reports as well as game film from draftbreakdown.com to form opinions. As more profiles are posted and more game film released I’ll no doubt change my personal opinions on players.
But for now, let’s just dive in. Some picks may surprise you and some may not. That’s the nature of the beast. Now let’s go build a Super Bowl team!
