The Dallas Cowboys came up just short this year in making the playoffs and competing for Super Bowl LII.  They turn their attention to completely focus on the upcoming draft in what will be the first step back into contention.  The 2018 NFL Draft will be held from April 26th to April 28th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The needs of the Cowboys are clear: Wide Receiver, Offensive Line, Linebacker, Defensive Line, and Safety.  The Wide Receivers struggled all year, especially when Ezekiel Elliott was out.  There was a noticeable lack of depth on the Offensive Line and at the Linebacker position.  The Defensive Line took a step forward in 2017 but there is still plenty of room for improvement.  The Cowboys could also use an upgrade at safety.  There is little need to draft Cornerbacks in this upcoming draft as Dallas focused heavily on the secondary last year.

This year, the Cowboys have a total of 10 Draft Picks.  They were awarded 4 compensatory picks for departed free agents Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne, Barry Church, and Ronald Leary.

Now, let’s get this Mock Draft started.

NOTE: I have not watched as much film yet so the majority of the information in this mock draft was gathered from WalterFootball, ESPN, NFL.com, CBS Sports, and OverTheCap.
