Dallas Cowboys: Top 10 Offseason Trades in the 21st Century
3. Terry Glenn Trade (February 2003)
Cowboys received
Terry Glenn
Packers received
2004 188th overall pick (used on Andy Lee)
The Parcells family reunion started in 2003 during Parcells’s first year with the team.
Terry Glenn had played under Parcells only during his rookie season of 1996 but had impressed Parcells enough for him to bring him to the Cowboys.
Glenn was a standout during the Parcells era. He caught 208 passes while snagging 20 touchdowns during his four years in Dallas(not including his injury-shortened 2007).
When Drew Bledsoe signed on for the 2005 season, Glenn was reunited with the first quarterback he played within the NFL.
He is a largely overlooked player in Dallas Cowboys history and I do my best to get his name out there as much as I can. He was a personal favorite when I first got into the game.
