What Does All of This Mean?

Well, it is kind of self-explanatory. The Texas Rangers are enduring one of their worst seasons on record so far. The pitching, hitting, and hell even the fielding is combining for some of the worst baseball ever played in Arlington.

The important thing to remember for the few Rangers fans that survive is that it is a rebuilding process. It may not seem like it now, but the Texas Rangers have the power to become a top baseball organization if they play their cards right.

So, we can call for Jon Daniels’s head, threaten to never watch again, and burn all of our merchandise; or we can sit back and watch history in the making. This will be one of the worst all-time seasons the Texas Rangers have ever gone through and do not be shy to get a front row seat to it. You will be the only one there.

How bad will they finish? Well based on their current record the Rangers are projected to finish (72-90), which is not too awful.

However, I calculated this projected finish with the three seasons I spoke of in each section and the average finish is a (71-91) finish. How dramatically different.

Okay, so maybe this will not be the worst Texas Rangers season ever, but it will be interesting to see how far they can plummet.

For now, just sit back and watch the rest of the season. And please, stop commenting ridiculous things on Facebook that you “knew” this was going to happen and it somehow makes you a prodigy General Manager.
