Week 1: at Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 4:25 p.m. ET

The Cowboys open the 2018 season on the road for the first time since 2012.  The Carolina Panthers are coming off a playoff appearance in which they lost in the Wild Card round to the New Orleans Saints.  This is a tough matchup for the Cowboys to open the season due to dual-threat quarterback Cam Newton who can run up and down the field with the capability to throw for 300 yards.  I see the Cowboys defense struggling to contain Cam Newton and he rushes for the game-winning touchdown to ruin Week 1 for Cowboys fans.

Score: Loss 24-20
Record: 0-1
