Week 4: vs. Detroit Lions on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. ET

The Detroit Lions come to town in Week 4 as Matthew Stafford returns to his hometown.  With new head coach Matt Patricia, the Lions hope they can finally get over the hump. The Cowboys start out the game strong, clicking on all cylinders and build a lead well into the second half.

However, as we’ve seen many times before, Matthew Stafford does Matthew Stafford things and starts leading a furious comeback but he falls just short of a miracle. In the end, Cowboys fans can exhale as the Lions did nothing more than make the game more exciting in the end.

Score: Win 38-35
Record: 3-1
