Tavon Austin: Austin is the wildcard in this offense. I mainly put him at number three because I think he will have a ton of opportunities to make plays. Austin is a player who constantly wants the ball in his hands down the field or as a running back.

The Cowboys coaching staff has already stated that they have plans for Austin and he could have several roles in this offense. Austin typically racks up around 800 total yards of offense when healthy and I would expect that trend to continue.

I mean let’s face it, this guy is a first-round talent who never found the right fit in the Rams offense. The Cowboys have a plan for him and expect him to stretch the field. While he has only had 12 touchdowns in his career you have to count the years he spent with Jeff Fisher as a mulligan, that team was incredibly bad.

Austin has spent five years in the NFL and should be finally fully healthy by the time Week One rolls around. I would expect him to see the football a lot to keep defenses off balance and out of Ezekiel Elliott’s face.
