Nashville Predators

Nashville traded away their first and second rounder, in hopes of winning the Stanley Cup this past postseason. They only had 4 picks in the draft, beginning in the 4th round. This is due to several trades. They sent their first round (27th overall) and fourth round (120th overall) picks to Chicago. In exchange, they received right-winger Ryan Hartman and Chicago’s two 5th round (131st and 151st) picks.

Nashville also sent their second-round pick (No. 58) to Colorado in a three-team deal that sent center Kyle Turris to Music City. They also gave their sixth round (182nd overall) pick to San Jose for two minor league players. In addition, the Preds gave their 3rd round pick (No. 89) to Florida in exchange for Florida’s 3rd rounder in next year’s draft. Here are their 4 draft selections from Saturday.

111th – Jachym Kondelik, C – UCONN (NCAA)

131st – Spencer Stastney, D – Notre Dame (NCAA)

151st – Vlad Yeryomenko, D – Calgary (WHL)

213th – Milan Kloucek, G – Pardubice (CZE)
