Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche had a somewhat successful outing in the 2017-18 regular season but was knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by the Nashville Predators, losing the series in six games.

Wingers Blake Comeau (UFA), Matt Nieto (RFA), and Nail Yakupov (UFA) are Colorado’s free agent forwards. With $21 million in cap space, the Avs have a great opportunity to add some depth to their lineup. Here are some forwards they might take interest in.

  • Points: 54 (36 G, 18 A)
  • Cap hit last season: $4.25 million

Thomas Vanek, LW
