Winnipeg Jets – C
The Jets have a lot of players who became restricted and unrestricted free agents.
Despite their losses, they were able to sign C Seth Griffith, G Laurent Brossoit, RW Dennis Everberg, and D Cameron Schilling to one-year contracts.
They also signed LW Skyler McKenzie to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Winnipeg did lose Paul Stastny (Las Vegas), who they traded for before the trade deadline last season. Michael Hutchinson (Florida), Matt Hendricks (Minnesota), Patrice Cormier (Barys Astana, KHL) and Jan Kostalek (HC Sparta Praha, Czech Republic) are players who have “departed” from the Jets roster.
Like Colorado, Winnipeg lost more than they gained.
Remaining cap space: $26,805,836
