- Ty Dellandrea
Ty Dellandrea was picked 13th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
Dellandrea, who played with the Flint Firebirds in the OHL last season, lead his team in goals (with 27) and finished second in assists (with 39) and total points (with 59), only behind Maurizio Colella.
He was also an assistant captain for Canada’s U18 team at the World Juniors, where he tallied two goals and three assists in five games. Canada won the Hlinka Memorial Gold Medal at the tournament.
- Oscar Back
Back was picked in the 3rd round (75th overall) in the 2018 NHL Draft.
He played 3 games last season with Farjestad BK’s J18 team and scored one goal and four assists. He then moved up to their J20 squad and recorded 32 points (10 G, 22 A) in 38 games. He then was on Farjestad BK’s team in the SHL, Sweden’s best league, for 14 games but didn’t record any points.
Back additionally scored four points (1 G, 3 A) in seven games for Swedens U18 team at the World Juniors in 2017.
- Curtis Douglas
Douglas was picked by Dallas in the fourth round (106th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
While with the Windsor Spitfires, Douglas put up 28 points (15 G, 13 A) in 38 games. He also played with the Barrie Colts at the start of the season, he scored 18 points (7 G, 11 A). in 28 games.
- Liam Hawel
Hawel was selected by the Stars in the 4th round (101st overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.
While with the Guelph Storm this past season, Hawel put up 41 points (14 G, 27 A) in 62 games. The season prior, Hawel registered 28 points (9 G, 19 A) with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the Storm.
- Riley Damiani
The Mississauga, Ontario native was drafted by Dallas in the 5th round (137th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
Damiani, who was with the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL last season, scored 37 points (19 G, 18 A) in 64 games. In the 2016-17 season, Damiani put up nine goals and thirteen assists in 62 games. He also played for Canada’s U17 team in the World Hockey Championships, notching three points (1 G, 2 A) in five games.
