The Dallas Cowboys will have some hard decisions to make regarding their roster. Let’s take a look at the Cowboys roster projection for 2018.

The Dallas Cowboys are currently in the process of sculpting their final 53 man roster and this will make for some interesting decisions. There are a large number of positional camp battles going on this year and as the preseason rolls along it will be interesting to see who stands out.

So far a few players have stood out tremendously while others will hit the cutting room floor. With that said, let’s take a look at a 53 man roster projection for the NFL 2018 regular season.

Dak Prescott/Cooper Rush

This one is sort of a no-brainer if you have been watching training camp. The Dallas Cowboys franchise quarterback Dak Prescott is a lock to make this roster and so might be his backup from 2017 Cooper Rush.

Rush has been battling with Mike White for that primary backup role and I have to say, Rush seems to be the better option at this time. White should fall to the practice squad as Rush seemingly has a couple of steps on the rookie at this point.

White has been hesitant and has struggled to diagnose coverage on a few occasions. This does not mean he doesn’t have time to turn things around however Rush has the edge at this point in time.
