Randy Gregory’s meteoric rise has allowed the Dallas Cowboys to move Tyrone Crawford to the under tackle again. It appears Gregory and rookie Dorance Armstrong will split time at RDE while Tank and Taco take the LDE.

With the top for ends playing so well, there’s really no room for Kony Ealy, so I expect him to get cut. Charles Tapper is another player likely on the outside looking in. He’s flashed in the past but has absolutely disappeared as of late.

Inside, Craw will hold down the fort at 3-tech while David Irving is out. And there’s no reason Antwuan Woods shouldn’t start at nose tackle. As I’ve said before, Maliek Collins is better at 3-tech than at 1-tech, and since he’s been getting some snaps there in camp, I’m going to keep him in the rotation when the regular season begins.

Datone Jones is hurt but he’s done more than enough to secure a roster spot as long as the injury isn’t too significant. Brian Price is an underrated NT who should work well in a rotation with Woods.

Before the news came out about Frederick, I had Ward sneaking onto the roster by the hair of his chinny chin-chin. But now with Frederick out indefinitely, I’d much rather have an extra offensive lineman than an extra defensive lineman like Ward.
