Round 4 – Isaiah Prince – Offensive Tackle – Ohio State

While I do believe the Cowboys may look at a guard at some point, I think with Tyron Smith looking like his career is starting to wind down, tackle could shoot up the needs list quickly. Prince may shoot up boards after a great December and good performance in the Rose Bowl, but right now about the fourth round is right.

While Prince might only be a right tackle, he is formidable there. He has a strong punch and blocks well in the run game. He will need to work on some footwork, but all of his issues look fixable, not something you can always say about linemen at this point in the draft. If he can show well in the combine, then he should be a quality find in the fourth round.

There were several ways to play the draft at this point. Defensive tackle and safety are still out there, but with Prince on the board and a need for some injection of youth at tackle, I went with Prince. There is very little wrong answers at this point, but also no certain right ones. Prince is a solid get and will be a good addition.
