Dallas Cowboys: Who are their free agents and who will they re-sign?
By Reid Hanson
Jamize Olawale
Fullback
As the lone fullback on the Dallas Cowboys, Jamize Olawale can technically be considered a starter. But anyone who knows the Dallas offense knows that fullback has long been a role player and as such only plays a bit part on the team.
Jamize, 30, came to Dallas in an offseason trade with Oakland. His pass-catching prowess and ability to help on both running plays and passing plays made him particularly attractive. But after playing only 131 snaps and failing to carve out a consistent role, it is likely Olawale will be replaced with a younger, cheaper option in 2019.

L.P. Ladouceur
Long snapper
L.P. has been nothing short of brilliant as a long snapper for the Dallas Cowboys. Because of this, if he wants to return, Dallas will make sure he does. The main item in question is his desire. Turning 38 in March, L.P. qualifies officially as “long in the tooth” in the NFL. It also makes him the oldest player on the roster by a fairly wide margin.
Fun Fact: L.P. Ladouceur is only 1 year older than defensive coach Kris Richard (39).
With no signs of breaking down and nothing to indicate he’s become disinterested in football, the thinking is L.P will grace us with his presence for at least another season.
