Dallas Cowboys Mock Draft: All Six Picks (Adithya 1.0)
In this Dallas Cowboys mock draft we evaluate who may be available and who Dallas may be interested in…
Just under a week from another Patriots championship, the NFL is officially in the off-season. Players in the NFL will hit free agency, scouting departments will be reviewing incoming rookies, and draftees will be hoping to raise the likelihood they land on a team. Who are some players we can see wear the Dallas Cowboys jersey come the Fall of 2019.
The Cowboys have been no stranger to draft success. This tweet from John Owning just about does justice:
Of course, this tweet specifies the Cowboys success in the first round, but this success has spread into other rounds. Chidobe Awuzie, Connor Williams, Randy Gregory, Jaylon Smith are all recent 2nd round picks who’ve seen success with the Cowboys. Should I mention DeMarcus Lawrence was a second round pick as well?
The Cowboys aren’t in an ideal situation with their first pick being No. 58 but there is plenty of value in this draft at positions the Cowboys need to reload or rebuild. With the Cowboys electing to not reload through free agency, the draft has been their most valuable array of players.
With under 80 days till Roger Goodell calls the first player selected in Nashville, it is time to do some pre-combine mock drafts. The Cowboys have fewer picks but also fewer needs than they’ve previously had. If the Cowboys can change their approach to free agency, it makes this draft easier to tackle without their first round pick.
