Now that free agency has started and the Dallas Cowboys are making minor moves to allow a best player available theory in the draft, let’s update the Cowboys mock draft.

Let’s start this Dallas Cowboys mock with a clear message, this is not a dream scenario, this is based on many simulations run through both Fanspeak and The Draft Network. I went with best player available as I think the Cowboys will, but also within context of who they brought in, needs, and depth. Who you see picked is the most often available name over all simulations.

I believe the Cowboys are looking to fill depth and as many holes with value targets in free agency to allow what is know as BPA (or best player available) in the draft. However, looking at the positions and players they brought in for pre-draft visits so far, it appears a lot of defense. So we are making some assumptions on what they are looking for.

Please enjoy the mock draft, and as usual it will probably change as we get closer to the draft itself. Evaluations of players came from all over as well as my own watching of the players. I try to convey what I think is their strength and weakness within all of that. Now, on to the mock.
