Dallas Cowboys Draft: 10 Edge Rushers for the Cowboys
As is a yearly need for most teams, the Dallas Cowboys will be looking to select an Edge Rusher in the 2019 NFL Draft so today I’ll be continuing my series of 10 prospects for the Cowboys, this time at the EDGE position.
What an off season it’s been for the Dallas Cowboys Defensive Line. First Randy Gregory was hit with another suspension. David Irving announced his retirement while smoking a blunt. The Cowboys have franchised tagged DeMarcus Lawrence, but have still yet to extend him long term. And now Tyrone Crawford was seen fighting bouncers at a bar.
While Stephen A. Smith’s extremely vague remark, “they’re an accident waiting to happen,” seems to hold some truth with this team’s defensive ends, the Cowboys are in a fortunate position where there are an abundance of valuable EDGE pieces to choose from in this draft class.
While the Cowboys are out of the running for players like Nick Bosa, Josh Allen, and Brian Burns, there are some valuable edge rushers that could be found as late as the third round that could provide valuable production for the Cowboys immediately.
So without further ado, I’ll be discussing 10 edge rushers. I’ll continue to discuss What’s Good and What Ain’t Good with each prospect, but instead of discussing whether he’s an ideal fit for the Cowboys, I’ll be discussing where they would play along the line.
