Draft Weekend could not be here any sooner so I’ll be taking one more shot at a Mock Draft. Today I’ll attempt to build the best and most accurate Mock Draft for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Cowboys have done an impressive job this free agency filling holes while resigning players that are franchise cornerstones. Outside of the hole at backup running, the Cowboys could look to use the best player available option at each pick.

With the Cowboys selecting fairly late, even for the second round, the expectation for the selection will most likely result in him being a backup to start the season. Even with a mid first round pick last year, Leighton Vander Esch didn’t start until week 5 of last season.

Of course the irony is Connor Williams ended up starting week one, but it seems the odds of a starter level talent falling to the Cowboys this draft isn’t likely with how late they are selecting. But who knows, draft day is crazy.

Once again, I’ll be using the Mock Draft Simulator from the Draft Network to select players. The picks the simulator makes are based on the TDN big board so I will try to account for some unexpected moves that usually occur during the weekend.

So without further wait, lets get right into it…
