With the Dallas Cowboys all but out of the playoffs after the loss to the Eagles, let’s turn our attention to the draft and who the Cowboys could target in the first round.

After the Dallas Cowboys lost against the Eagles, it might be time to turn the attention to the draft. While it is still early in the draft process, we have some ideas who might be around when the Cowboys pick in the first round. We are going to assume it will be somewhere between the 10th and 15th pick right now. Regardless of who the new coach is, we will look at some needs and the talent that should be around.

Evaluation is a combination of my own film study, reviews from the experts at Draft Network, and talking with people like Brandon Baer, Dalton Miller, and Patrick Conn. I am not making any assumptions on the Cowboys resigning anyone, nor what they will do in free agency. I am strictly looking at filling holes with best possible talent in the 10-15 range.

I will also include two players who if they drop would be someone to grab as well. I will not include anyone I think might climb in the draft process that currently are well below the Cowboys range, only if they are close. I am basing the needs off a general consensus around CowboysNation. And away we go.
