With the Dallas Cowboys’ season now in the books, before all of the madness of a coaching search, let’s look at the first mock draft of the offseason.

The 2019 Dallas Cowboys season was a complete and utter disaster. With a new coach on the horizon and all of the talk surrounding that, let’s take a stab at a seven round mock draft for the Cowboys. As usual this is not a dream scenario mock where fan favorite CeeDee Lamb drops to the Cowboys, this is run through simulations with other teams picking.

For clarity, the mock comes from multiple simulations through both DraftNetwork and Fanspeak. The analysis is a combination of myself and multiple other draft “experts”. The pick you see is the most often picked player in each round. I will offer the name of the second most picked for clarity. As always feel free to ask me on Twitter or on here why a pick was made and keep the conversation going.

So with the rules laid out, let’s get straight to it. I went with “best player available” or “BPA” but also looked at needs. This will all change as the draft season heats up, a new coaching staff is put in place, and free agency happens. For now, enjoy!
