Top Ten Texas Rangers Moments of the Decade

#3-2011 ALCS Victory
The Texas Rangers entered the 2011 postseason on a mission. With arguably the best offense of the decade, the club entered the postseason with the second best record in the AL, just one game behind the Yankees for the best record.
After losing game one of the ALDS, the Texas Rangers caught fire, winning three straight close games over the Tampa Bay Rays, one of which included Adrian Beltre hitting three home runs.
As y’all have already read, Nelson Cruz then decided to catch fire in the ALCS, and put the Rangers on his back en route to the Rangers second consecutive World Series appearance.
The Rangers started the series off great, as they played some of their best baseball of the season, and after game two, they had a five game winning streak that was snapped, but they recovered, winning two of the final three games to return to the World Series, in an attempt to redeem themselves for their rough appearance they had the year before.
Aside from Cruz tearing it up, the only other regulars to hit above .290 were Josh Hamilton, Mike Napoli, and Ian Kinsler, as the Texas Rangers pitching staff did most of the heavy lifting for the team, as the Tigers only managed to score 13 runs in the games that the Rangers won.
