I am going to doubt the Dallas Cowboys decide to go early on offensive tackle or on the inside line, but if they do invest early, Mekhi Becton is the best tackle in this class, and sadly, it isn’t very deep. There is a little more depth on the inside positions, and a guard like Logan Stenberg could be had in the middle rounds and provide solid depth early in his career.

However, offensive tackle is a hard one to look at in this class and the names to know right now would be Lucas Niang, Matthew Peart, and Ezra Cleveland progressively through the draft. I wouldn’t expect the Cowboys to grab a tackle that early, but Tyron Smith’s health has been a question and they could look to find his replacement earlier than later. Niang would provide depth early, but would need some work before he becomes an every game starter.

More than likely the Dallas Cowboys will look later in the draft and names like Jon Runyan and Charlie Heck would be two names that need work, but has some tools and size to work with. These may not be the splashiest of picks, but depth is always welcome.
