This draft class at tight end seems to be a little bit of a question on how deep it actually is. The class started out with about four top 100 players, but that is changing as the weeks are ticking by. Earlier in the draft Cole Kmet out of Notre Dame, Brycen Hopkins from Purdue, Hunter Bryant from Washington, and Thaddeus Moss out of LSU will be names everyone will keep an eye on. However, it appears the class is deeper than that.

The first name I love is Adam Trautman out of Dayton, I had him as a later round sleeper, until he blew everyone away at the Senior Bowl. Jared Pinkney and Cheyenne O’Grady are two more names that could be a fourth or fifth round pick, but also could jump up higher. The class is looking deeper than first thought.

In the later rounds if you want a receiving threat that may not be a solid blocker, than names like Mitchell Wilcox or Harrison Bryant might be names to watch. If you want more of a guy who kind of does it all, but is not quite a master at any then Jacob Breeland and Luke Ferrell are guys who can block and catch, but aren’t going to be matchup nightmares.
