Antonio Brown

Age: 31

5-foot-10, 185lb

Not so long ago Antonio Brown was the undisputed top receiver in the NFL. Natural hands, speed, precision, and tenacity made him a fit for virtually any system. That may seem like forever ago but the 31-year old wideout is only one season removed from a 104 reception, 1297 yard, 15 touchdown, Pro Bowl season.

the 31-year old wideout is only one season removed from a 104 reception, 1297 yard, 15 touchdown, Pro Bowl season.

That was all of course before his very public meltdown last year that led to him going from the Pittsburgh Steelers, to the Oakland Raiders, to the New England Patriots, to his coach at home.

He’s been a problem in the locker room, a problem on social media, a non-factor on the field (only played one game last season), and even a problem legally (he’s been arrested for burglary and battery and been negotiating a settlement for a sexual assault accusation)

Now, after basically torching his reputation and career, Brown wants to come back to the NFL.

After what went down the past 12 months it safe to say teams aren’t going to be exactly lining up to sign the maligned veteran. Would it be wise for the Dallas Cowboys to replace Amari Cooper, one of the least diva-like WRs in the NFL, with Brown, one of the most unstable and cancerous players in the NFL? Definitely not. But if you want someone who Dallas can sign for dirt cheap to a one year deal that has the ability to replace all of Amari Cooper’s production, this is the only option for you.
