Rounds 4 and 5

I really like Amik Robertson in the fourth round, but feel he might be gone before the Cowboys are on the clock. Robertson is about the line where the dropoff starts to get steep in the draft. Essang Bassey, Trajan Bandy, and Michael Ojemudia are all names to watch. For fit, Ojemudia might be one of the better ones in the part of the draft.

Ojemudia is more of a zone cover corner with good ball skills. Of this part of the draft he might have the best ball skills of the group. He lacks the fluidity in his hips to really ask him to be a top corner, but in a zone specific defense could thrive. He is one of the better corners in the draft in run support and would help in that area right away.

Robertson is the best round four option, but in the right fit Ojemudia isn’t going to hurt. His ball skills are something the Cowboys have needed, and he has them. This would probably mean the Cowboys would have to play more zone coverage if he is asked to be one of the top two guys, but if you are going to go that direction, Ojemudia would be the guy to do it.
