After a start to free agency that saw the Dallas Cowboys lose big-name free agents, the team is now in need of athletes on both sides of the ball. With the sudden retirement of center Travis Frederick, the team might be shopping for some interior offensive linemen in the draft.

Draft season is in full swing. The scouting combine has long since passed. Pro days were a thing – until they weren’t. Mock drafts and big boards are churned daily for the entertainment of fans. For the next month, many football fans are busy finding the most effective ways to help fill the holes in their favorite football teams.

The Dallas Cowboys have many holes to fill as many of their players are busy signing with other teams. While the Cowboys have more cap space available this offseason than in previous years, free agency is not going to solve all the issues with this team. Hence the draft will seemingly make or break the Cowboys roster once again.

Yay, teambuilding!

Today we will be looking at the best interior offensive linemen available in each round of the 2020 NFL draft. Dallas was hit with the surprise retirement of future Hall of Fame center Travis Frederick. While this is great news for the Frederick household, there is now a void in the starting lineup that needs to be filled.

Fortunately, the Cowboys were able to bring backup interior lineman Joe Looney back on a one-year deal. The Cowboys also lucked into 2019 third-round pick, Connor McGovern, who looks like he will be ready to participate after sitting out his rookie season with a pectoral injury.

Even with all the depth the team has, the Cowboys do have picks at their disposal to pick up a depth piece in a top-heavy interior offensive line class!
