Complete Dallas Cowboys Mock Draft: Final Edition (with trades)
With a few days before the NFL draft, we take a final stab at a Dallas Cowboys mock draft. A trade down highlights this draft.
The more I have thought about this draft the more I realize the Dallas Cowboys could trade down if he top half doesn’t fall the way they want it to. If one of the quarterbacks fall, there is a real possibility the Cowboys could drop back a few spots. There is a group of players they look to be targeting and seem to be happy getting any one of them.
This draft has a trade down and all of the simulations were done in combination with PFF mock and DraftNetwork mock. There is also a possibility of trading up in some spots, but I think they may collect picks as they will be using some hybrid schemes on defense and a new offensive scheme as well.
The first round names they seem to be okay with grabbing are K’Lavon Chaisson, Kenneth Murray, C.J Henderson, and Henry Ruggs, among some others. I think many of their guys will go earlier than they expect and could be staring at one of the quarterbacks, an offensive lineman, and running back along with some other guys. A trade back would seem like the best option if it does fall that way. This is how the mocks fell more often than not on the simulations, so we traded back. Let’s see how the mock ended up.
