Third Round

DT, Neville Gallimore

Like I stated before, the only hard decision for the Dallas Cowboys was choosing between Diggs and Neville Gallimore with their 51st pick. Luckily for Dallas, both players were available for them, and they both had second round grades, so once again, ole Jerry and company got another steal with Gallimore sitting there in round 3 at number 82

Gallimore is a much needed addition to the defensive line rotation that will stop the run and then some. As a backup/complement to Gerald McCoy, Gallimore has potential to be a starter, but more importantly, Gallimore is huge-body and run-stopping nose tackle that will be troublesome in the backfield.

Last season at Oklahoma, Gallimore tallied four sacks and 7.5 tackles for a loss, and Gallimore had three sacks in 2018. Gallimore plays with a high motor, weighs 300 pounds, and clocked in at 4.79 seconds in the 40-yard dash. That’s scary! Imagine Gallimore running towards you!

Gallimore will learn from veterans McCoy and Dontari Poe and will have fresh legs because of the defensive line rotation. Dallas just found their starting defensive tackle for years to come ( Trysten Hill you have major competition). If Hill plays to his potential, Dallas will have the best defensive tackles in the league.
