Kendrick Rodgers

Wide Receiver – Texas A&M

Kendrick Rogers is a slightly frustrating yet still intriguing receiver prospect. He makes some circus catches that will turn heads and make you imagine what he could be. He can get vertical and make catches many other receivers may not be able to make. He is one of those players you can rely on in high pressure situations.

Rogers had one of the best catch radii in the Big12. He adjusts really well and is very flexible as a receiver. He can flash some ability to break a catch for bigger yards and as he gets deeper he gets more reliable. While his routes are average at best, has enough elusiveness to work vertically. He is a guy a quarterback can throw at and know if the catch is contested he has a good chance of getting it.

Rogers has a woeful route tree and while he has the size, doesn’t really use it to keep defenders away from the ball. He rounds his routes off and is more reliant on his straight speed and hands. He doesn’t work well underneath or across the middle in traffic. He is a deep threat and needs more work to be on the active roster.
