Ladarius Hamilton

Edge – University of North Texas

Hamilton is an edge that loves to get after the quarterback. When he met with the Bears at the Combine he stated all he wanted to do was get a chance and get after the quarterback. Except he said it in one breath, and he means it. His motor and drive are just that high.

He will need to work on a better pass rush package at the next level, but if you ask him to set the edge and hold up the point of attack he is your man. Hamilton is strong enough to get double and triple team and still hold the edge. Because of his power is hands have a good pop in them and he loves to hit people, and he does it pretty hard.

Hamilton will need to do better with his footwork when it comes to rushing the passer. The needs to get a slightly better pass rush plan and not just rely on his power. He may have to give up a little of it to create more agility, but he has the drive and tenacity to make it work if asked. He is a practice squad guy for now you stash, but could find an early role on special teams.
