Aaron Parker

Wide Receiver – Rhode Island

Parker is a volume catcher who can get really tough catches and can gain some extra yards due to his size and ability to adjust in the air so well. He was one of the top FCS wide receivers coming out and was someone that could have been drafted as early as the sixth round. He is a sneaky pickup and could find a role at the end of the roster.

Parker uses his body to make some really tough catches. While he has been used to bully around corners at the FCS level, he has the size and body control to compete with many corners. He doesn’t really have a next gear, but is quick enough to get some extra yards if has a little room to run. He started out as a linebacker so he understands how to use his body to shield out players and has a solid first step.

Rarely did I see Parker get a ton of separation, but he has the innate ability to use his body to adjust to the ball in the air or shield the defensive back from the ball. He can get a little grabby due to the separation, but does well to not extend his arms out while doing it. He will be a practice squad player with the ability to be a bottom of the roster guy early.
