Game by game predictive tale of the Dallas Cowboys 2020 season
The National Football League announced each team’s 2020 regular season schedule on Thursday night. Every year fans love to overreact to the schedule release; I did the same thing except I put a fantasy twist to the proceedings.
It has been a little over two weeks since the most recent sporting event occurred, so naturally, a moment like the NFL schedule release date would draw plenty of attention. Considering most of the population is still dealing with a pandemic, the schedule release was another necessary distraction.
With questions about when the NFL regular season will start, there were some theories floating around on how the games would be grouped. Dallas might experience a shock knowing they won’t be playing any divisional rivals during the first four weeks of the season, but in the words of Mike McCarthy, “It’s kind of nice not to have a division game until we can get started and find out where we are as a football team.”
Dallas is heading into the new year with a lot of new things. This is Mike McCarthy’s first year at the helm as the head coach for the Dallas Cowboys. With his addition, we’ve seen a complete culture shift with the team.
let’s make this interesting by applying a wild west spin to the schedule and turning the Dallas Cowboys into mounted lawmen determined to tame the lawless country
The team has invested in popular free agents, the team actually drafted with a “best player available” mindset, there is finally a proven quarterback behind the starter, and the team seems to be more receptive to different types of approaches and analytics. Because of how much has changed and how little time the team will have to implement everything, the 2020 season is going to be one for the ages.
The story of this season will be really unique, so let’s make it even more interesting by applying a wild west spin and turning the Dallas Cowboys into mounted lawmen determined to tame the lawless country and ride off into the sunset as the ultimate victors.
I give you, The Tale of the 2020 Dallas Cowboys…
