Game by game predictive tale of the Dallas Cowboys 2020 season
Week 9: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Dallas Cowboys
The victors returned to the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area having won two battles. They did, however, need to catch up on some sleep as the skirmish with the eagles of Philadelphia went well into the night. However, just when the cowboys were getting ready to return their horses to the stable, lieutenant colonel La’el Collins screamed in pain.
Sheriff Prescott turned around, shocked that someone would injure a protector of his this late in the day. It didn’t take long to realize what was going. A union of steel mill workers stood in a giant pack with steel beams in their hands. The cowboys were looking grab some much-needed rest and now they were faced with the struggle of dealing with angry workers that unionized.
The battle proved unsuccessful for the members of the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area as the defense of the steel bars countered any damage from the cowboys. Sheriff Prescott’s sidearm was holding true but the workers were able to deflect anything that came from Prescott.
An offensive attack that had been consistent for several weeks sputtered at home of all places.
Pittsburgh 31, Dallas 20
Week 11: Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings
The Cowboys were fortunate to not deal with any travel or skirmishes since the unsuccessful battle with the unionized steel mill workers. However, little did they know their biggest challenge would present themselves in the most unconventional way.
It had been a couple of weeks since the staff had traveled out of the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area as apart of their great expedition in the year of our lord 2020. The group elected to travel to the midwest after visiting both the west and east coast to some degree. Their travels took them to the great lakes where a collection of some of the largest Viking ships sat.
Sheriff Prescott traveled down to dock with deputy Elliott with the hopes they gain control of the lake for future fishing trips with the staff. Upon arrival, Prescott got off his horseback and walked towards the ship where multiple Vikings were looking to stash with resources for future travels.
“Hear ye, hear ye! Yesteryear we were asked to give up control of the Trinity River as grounds for losing our skirmish in our homeland. This year, we would like to do the same except gain control of your are touching Lake Superior!”
The Vikings looked confused and eventually, the Viking Kirk Cousins stepped off the boat. Standing much bigger than sheriff Prescott, Cousins said softly, “while we don’t have the defense mechanisms necessary to wage war, but we shan’t surrender so quickly.”
The skirmish ended quickly. The Vikings built on their physicality and aggression could not deal with the swiftness of the Cowboys. The ships almost instantly sank as the Cowboys quickly destroyed them.
“Well, it seems we should’ve surrendered at the beginning,” said Cousins realizing the damage done.
Dallas 31, Minnesota 17
Week 12: Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys
The constituents of the DC area were looking to make a trip to the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, but the fear of Bruce Allen loomed larger than initially expected. Major work was going to need to be done for the residents of that area and Thanksgiving was a less than ideal to fix that issue.
Washington 10, Dallas 27
Week 13: Baltimore Ravens vs Dallas Cowboys
It had been a week since Thanksgiving and all the Cowboys looked very comfortable. Having won most of their skirmishes this season heading into the month of December with positive momentum was a must.
Unfortunately, as assistant chief Kellen Moore was studying synchronized cavalry formations, he heard “nevermore!” He looked over to chief McCarthy who was right next to his ear. However, while it may have seemed like he said the famous Edgar Allen Poe line, McCarthy was in his ear wondering if he had heard the ominous nevermore. It didn’t take long for the two to realize what was going on.
A swarm of ravens crashed through the window and invaded the offices of the chief and assistant. Because these Ravens had the backing of analytics, for reasons that largely can’t be explained, the Ravens were able to attack the two without leaving any room to be attacked. As dominant of a tussle as they come.
