The Dallas Cowboys might just be one piece away from Super Bowl contention

The Dallas Cowboys had a significant offseason. Besides having a fairly successful free agency period that brought in the likes of Gerald McCoy, Dontari Poe, Daryl Worley, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Maurice Canady and others, Dallas put together what appears to be a historically great NFL Draft.

Couple those personnel upgrades with the upgrades made across the coaching ranks and you have reason for optimism heading into 2020. Because now the 8-8 team from last year looks like the NFC East division favorite and possibly even a legit Super Bowl contender. What a difference a few months make, right?

But with all the excitement heading into the new season comes raised expectations and a growing sense of urgency. The window is open right now and if the Dallas Cowboys don’t seize the moment, who knows how long before the opportunity arises again.

Which brings us to the trade discussion.

Now the high price of doing business via trade market seems a little more worth it than it once did. And now selling a little bit of the future for a better shot at the title today seems like it may be the most responsible thing to do.

So today we look at three dream trade scenarios that could put the Dallas Cowboys over the top. The players discussed either have had rumors revolving around them in the recent past, or are in situations where a trade could be realistic possibly.
