4 reasons why the NFC East works in Dallas Cowboys favor

The Dallas Cowboys are currently 1-2 have a losing record but that’s no problem in the NFC East
The Dallas Cowboys are currently sitting at 1-2 after week 3 of the NFL season. but that’s no cause for panic because the NFC East is the only division in football that every team has a losing record.
There is 4 reasons why the NFC East works in the Cowboys favor.
Reason 1: The Philadelphia Eagles are a mess:
The Eagles are coming off a tie against the Bengals. The Eagles are struggling on both sides of the football. Carson Wentz has been sacked 11 times in 3 games. He has also thrown 6 interceptions this season. The offensive line for the Eagles are not providing Wentz enough time to find open wide receivers.
The Eagle defense has 1 take away this year and it was a fumble recovery. The Eagles defense have faced one decent quarterback in three weeks. Jared Goff is the only quarterback they have faced that has proven himself in the NFL. Goff torched the Eagles secondary for 3 touchdowns.
The Eagle defense blew a 17 point lead to the Washington Football Team and didn’t force a turnover against Dwayne Haskins Jr. Joe Burrow threw for over 300 yards and had 2 touchdowns against the Eagle defense. Looking ahead for the Eagles the road only gets harder they travel to San Francisco, Pittsburgh, and then host the Ravens. The room for error is slim for them right now and there season could be done after these next three games.
Reason 2: The Giants are without their biggest threat:
Saquon Barkley went down and is now on the injured reserve list. This puts a lot of pressure on the Giants young quarterback Daniel Jones. Jones is not ready to handle the weight of the franchise yet. The New York Giants are on the path of having the number 1 pick in next years NFL Draft.
The Giants are struggling to run the football. They only have 170 rushing yards in 3 games and Daniel Jones has 92 of those yards himself. The Giants will need to get Barkley and Jones help on offense or they could be in big trouble in the future. The Giant offensive line is having trouble keeping Jones upright. He has been sacked 9 times in 3 games and has thrown 4 interceptions.
The Giants have a better chance at winning their first game before the Eagles but their road does not get any easier. The travel to the Rams this weekend, then travel to Dallas, before welcoming the Washington Football Team. If the Giants lose all three of these games it will be a match up on Thursday Night of two teams who have 0 wins. That Thursday Night game will be the Eagles versus the Giants.
Reason 3: The Washington Football Team are the Dallas Cowboys biggest threat:
The Washington Football Team are the Cowboys biggest threat in the NFC East. Who would have ever thought we would be saying that. This is beneficial for the Dallas Cowboys because Washington does not have a quarterback who is reliable.
Dwayne Haskins Jr. has not shown that he can be counted on when the game is on the line. He had a good first two games, but fell off the cliff against the Cleveland Browns. Haskins Jr. threw 3 interceptions against the Browns and showed that he was not ready to lead the team. Washington’s Head Coach Ron Rivera seems to be committed to Dwayne at quarterback, but that is because he has no other options.
Washington only has one thing going for them. Their defense is talented and their defensive line can get to the quarterback. Out of the 11 times Carson Wentz was sacked 8 of those sacks are from the Washington Football Teams defense. The way that this benefits the Cowboys is that if teams can lock up their defensive line they can have success against the rest of the Washington defense.
Reason 4: The Dallas Cowboys are more talented and experienced than the rest of the division:
The Cowboys offense has shown that they can put points on the board. Dak Prescott has put up numbers that are promising. Dak has thrown for 1,188 yards, 5 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and has been sacked 6 times. Ezekiel Elliott has started the season off on a good note with 219 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, and 1 receiving touchdown.
The Cowboys have the big 3 wide receivers in Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb. The 3 wide outs have accounted for 743 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. The Cowboys could have found a new target in their last game against the Seahawks. Cedrick Wilson had a successful game where he had 5 receptions for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wilson would add even more talent at the wide receiver position for Dak and the Cowboys offense.

If there is one area that could potentially hold the Cowboys back it would be the defense. The defense is still figuring things out this season. Once their defense figures out the new scheme and becomes use to it they will come around. The Dallas Cowboys have the opportunity to separate themselves from the rest of their division in the next three weeks.
Once the Dallas Cowboys defense gets on track the Cowboys will be a force to be wrecking with not only in the NFC East, but in the NFC period. Dallas has enough talent on offense and defense to make a good run at the playoffs and has the potential to make a run at the Super Bowl. The question is when will that defense come around?
Will the Cowboys play above the weaker competition or down to their level? These are questions we will find answers to and those answers will come very soon.
