The Dallas Cowboys have a chance of being favorites to win the next five games starting with the 2-1 Cleveland Browns.

Fans were hoping for the Cowboys to get off to a better start, but Dallas sits at 1-2 to begin the Mike McCarthy era. After a tough loss to Seattle on the road, they return home for another battle. This time they face the Cleveland Browns at home in Arlington.

Dak Prescott is off to a hot start with 1,188 passing yards, 74 rushing yards, and eight total touchdowns in three games. The usual offensive weapons like Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper have not disappointed with Elliott scoring three touchdowns and Cooper leading the team in catches (25) and yards (267). Dallas has seen the emergence in 2020 first-round pick CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup who each have at least 230 receiving yards.

The defense has been the biggest concern with the secondary being exposed early in the season. Opposing offenses have racked up 863 yards with nine passing touchdowns and one interception. These numbers should have fans puzzled as to why defensive coordinator Mike Nolan hasn’t had the defense on the same level as the offense.

Despite the Cleveland Browns coming in at a 2-1 record, the Cowboys are favored to win with a point spread of -4.5. In the next five games, many believe Dallas should be favored to win each of those games. With the talent of the team, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise since they have one of the easiest schedules left in the NFL season.
