Week 5 Dallas Cowboys versus New York Giants

This rivalry has been lopsided for a long time. The New York Giants haven’t beaten Dallas since December of 2016. Four of the last six wins have seen Dallas win by double digits over New York.

The Giants are, for a lack of a term, struggling on both sides of the ball. Their defense kept them in the Chicago game before losing 17-13. New York got exposed defensively allowing 36 points to the Nick Mullens-led San Francisco 49ers.

Their offense hasn’t faired any better scoring 16, 13, and nine points to start the season. The injury to Saquon Barkley has hurt any chances of having a running game with quarterback Daniel Jones leading the team in rushing. They are hoping the addition to Devonta Freeman can help their running game.

With this game being played at home, Dallas should have a major advantage in every aspect of the game. The Cowboys offense should be able to score points at will with a weak and inexperienced Giants secondary.

Jones has not been able to establish any momentum at quarterback for the Giants being sacked nine times in three games. Guys like Smith and Demarcus Lawrence could be in for big games.
