Dallas Cowboys Candy Group 3

Kit Kat – Leighton Vander Esch

Across the board Kit Kat is well received but it has its fair share of poor and really good experiences. That has been the Leighton Vander Esch experience thus far.

This defense is better with 55 on the field calling the plays. Even if the production is marginally better, it’s still marginally in the right direction. However, every now and then we run into the bad Leighton Vander Esch game. Missed tackles everywhere, inability to run and cover in the flats, and good old miscommunication. It’s almost like opening a Kit Kat wrapper to see one of the chocolate covered wafers doesn’t actually have a wafer in it.

Sure it’s disappointing, but then you remember about how you finished a pack of 50 in less than a week and it helps you recover from the bad outing. You’re reminded why you purchased it in the first place and just hope for crunchy goodness on your next bite.

Also, wafers covered in chocolate aren’t any more durable, much like Vander Esch thus far into his career.

Candy Corn – Jaylon Smith

Candy Corn isn’t good. Stop saying it is because it isn’t; you are just being delusional.

For the very small contingent who believe Jaylon Smith is still a good linebacker, stop. He isn’t and it’s time to move onto another player.

Swedish Fish – Randy Gregory

This might not be a problem for the rest of you, but I don’t see Swedish fish as a commonly advertised candy compared to other likable sweets. Sadly, I get similar vibes from Randy Gregory. Gregory has been suspended from the league for several instances, but when he comes back he has generally been productive opposite DeMarcus Lawrence.

Much like Swedish Fish, I love seeing Randy Gregory around as it is a welcome sight. When you take a bit of a Fish it hits the spot. When Gregory makes a play it reciprocates the same feeling.

Heath Bar – Tyrone Crawford

Everything with Heath bars is so black and white; it’s either you like it or you don’t. For those who like it, they might suggest to others that they should throw it on a Dairy Queen Blizzard with some caramel. (You’re welcome) Those who don’t like it likely complain about its texture in addition to its taste.

More from Dallas Cowboys

This seems to really highlight what Tyrone Crawford is to this defense. He doesn’t make many flashy plays but his consistent effort and leadership result in many fans of his game within the building and across the country. Others don’t care and look closely at the box score and decide he isn’t productive enough to warrant a starting spot.

Whatever your opinion is, there seems to be a house perfectly divided and it doesn’t really seem to be an issue for anyone. Heath is THAT candy.

Next. Three things to look for in Ben DiNucci. dark
